Why one contractor for HVAC and electrical.

Three reasons it matters more in 2026 than it used to.

Almost every modern HVAC install needs electrical work. A 4-ton cold-climate heat pump pulls 30 to 50 amps of new capacity. If your panel is 100A or older, the heat pump install can't happen without an upgrade first. We sequence the panel work and HVAC install on one permit, one crew rotation, one calendar window. Saves $400 to $1,200 and 2 to 4 weeks of waiting for a second contractor.

Most contractors split the work; we keep it together. Heat pump companies subcontract the electrical. Electrical companies don't touch HVAC. The homeowner ends up coordinating between trades, splitting permits, and chasing two warranty contacts when something goes wrong. We're the same crew on both sides of the wall.

The PSE rebate is bigger than most homeowners realize. As a PSE Trade Ally, we apply the $1,200 instant rebate directly to your invoice at install. Add the federal 25C tax credit (up to $2,000) and income-qualified adders ($1,000 to $2,000), and the realized incentive stack can run $3,200 to $5,200 on a single heat pump project. What's different about working with us

We work the way we'd want someone working in our own home.

Service over sales. We slow down to do it right. We communicate like professionals. We don't take final payment until you sign off on the work.

Master electrician on every install.

Not just on projects code requires it. The master's eye catches issues that show up later: aluminum splices about to corrode, neutrals drawing more current than they should.

02 /

Real load calculations, not square-foot rules.

We run Manual J load calculations against your specific home, climate zone, ductwork, and insulation. Right-sized the first time means lower install cost, lower operating cost, longer equipment life.

03 /

Cost transparency before we walk in.

Every service page on this site has real cost ranges. You can scan five pages and know roughly what your project costs before we ever come out. We'd rather you arrive at the consult with a realistic budget than have us discover at the kitchen table that the conversation is dead on arrival.

04 /

Owner-operated, not franchise.

Chase, Parker, and Charlie are partners and Seattle locals, each with 10+ years in the trade. Black-owned and disabled-owned. We do every install ourselves, which means fewer jobs per week and more of them go right the first time.

Charlie was a breath of fresh air. Steve and Parker arrived right on time, removed their shoes, laid down floor protectors. They cleaned up so well that the floor actually looked better than before they arrived. These guys are truly professional and know their craft.

Do I need a panel upgrade for a heat pump?

Sometimes, often no. If your panel is 200A with open breaker spaces, we land the new circuit and you're done. If it's 100A or maxed out, the upgrade comes first ($2,800 to $4,500). We tell you up front in the written quote. See decision guide →
